Login & Account Access
Create your account, sign in, reset your password, and resolve access issues.
FAQ ↓Jenni supports email/password and Google sign-in. Use the sign-in method associated with your account to access your documents and data.
Creating an Account
- Visit the registration page.
- Enter your name, email address, and password.
- Alternatively, click Continue with Google to sign up with your Google account.
- Check your email for a verification link. Click it to activate your account.
Email verification is required before you can access the platform. This applies to every email/password account, including accounts created before the verification requirement was introduced. The link is sent automatically after registration.
Passwords created during signup or password reset must contain at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character. The form shows a Password requirements checklist as you type.
Logging In
- Visit the login page.
- Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
- Or click Continue with Google for Google sign-in.
Your session persists automatically across browser sessions. You do not need to log in again unless you explicitly sign out or your session expires after an extended period. The login page marks the email or Google method you used most recently with a Last used badge on that browser.
Resetting Your Password
- Click Forgot Password on the login page.
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for a password reset link.
- Follow the link to set a new password.
The new password must meet the same requirements used at signup: at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.
Organization-Provisioned Accounts
If your organization creates your Jenni account, you receive a set-password email rather than a shared default password. Open the link, create your password, and verify your email. Jenni then shows a dedicated confirmation screen before you continue to the workspace.
Logging Out
- Click your profile avatar in the sidebar.
- Select Logout.
You are immediately signed out and redirected to the home page.
Google and Email Sign-In
If Google sign-in and email/password use the same email address, either method may open the same Jenni account. If they lead to different workspaces or one method does not work, use the method you originally signed up with and contact support@jenni.ai.
Inactive Free Accounts
Free accounts that have never held a subscription can be deleted after an extended period of inactivity. Active subscriptions, trials, valid one-time payments, and accounts that previously held a subscription are protected from inactivity deletion.
| Stage | When | What Happens |
|---|---|---|
| First warning | After 6 months of inactivity | Jenni emails a deadline to log back in |
| Second warning | 21 days after the first warning | Jenni sends a follow-up warning |
| Deletion | 7 days after the second warning | Access to the account and its workspace content is removed |
Logging in at any point clears both warnings and stops deletion. If deletion completes, you will lose access to the account and its documents, chats, Library sources, uploads, collections, and images. Some records may be retained where required for billing, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance; see Privacy.
Troubleshooting
Verification email not received. Check your spam or junk folder. Make sure you entered the correct email address during registration. Emails can take up to 5 minutes to arrive. You can request a new verification email from the verification page.
Cannot log in. Double-check your email and password. Use Forgot Password if you cannot remember your password. Clear your browser cache and try again, or try a different browser or device.
Session expired. Log in again to restore access to your documents and data.
Signed up with Google but trying email login (or vice versa). Try the method you originally used to create your account. If you signed up with Google and never set a password, use Forgot Password to create one. Contact support if the two methods lead to different workspaces.
Account disabled. Accounts may be disabled due to a violation of Jenni’s terms of use. Contact support@jenni.ai to resolve the issue.
